Coincidence or a conspiracy?

May 7th, 2009

IMF, traditionally under the European control, has been busy dispensing political favors in the Balkans. To further appease the Albanian extremists in Kosovo, IMF maneuvered to declare that separatist entity a member of the IMF, a right reserved to independent nations. In return, Serbia got a promise for a $3.5 billion, or thereabouts, loan so that the cash strapped government can financially survive.

Coincidence or a conspiracy? Because someone has been arguing the case to me that the IMF auctioned off Kosovo’s membership to Serbia for 3 billion Euros with a promise to Belgrade to borrow more.

Another recent Coincidence or a conspiracy? dispute is the report by Serbian daily Blic citing some unnamed Serbian diplomat who claims that Serbia will cut a deal with the US on Kosovo where Washington will stop pressuring Serbia to recognize Kosovo while Serbia will make sure Kosovo Serbs get “integrated” into the independent Kosovo institutions.

Aside from the Balkan travails though… Britain has shown tremendous dedication to eradicate “radical” Islam by banning an American radio talk show host from traveling to the UK!

Serbia borrows $34.9 from World Bank

March 30th, 2009

Serbia got another loan, this time from the World Bank to fill up budgetary gaps caused by decrease in tax revenue caused by the economic slump.

The $34.9 million loan is amortized over 20 years, with an 8 years grace period (no payments needed) and the annual interest is the average of the six-month LIBOR rate.

Serb finance Minister Diana Dragutinovic said that the money will go straight into government account to fill up the hole in spending.

She said that the World Bank agreed in 2007 to aid Serbia and, she says, this is the first in such package.

The World Bank will approve at least one more loan to Serbia this year but did not specify the size.

World Bank’s Simon Gray, who signed the loan, said that Serbia deserves help because it already conducted successful reforms that streamlined the procedure for corporate registration, that it privatized its energy sector and insurance and is working on streamlining real estate licensing.

The World Bank loan comes hours after Serbia’s Foreign Minister got assurances from Austria that Austrian banks, hit hard by loan losses, will remain in Serbia and will not take flight with its capital.

Serbia was worried that Austrian banks may transfer some of the capital out of Serbia in order to help recapitalize the parent bank against loan losses.

On March 27, Serbia and the Austria agreed that the banks will remain in Serbia and have signed a memorandum of understanding that calls for stress testing of the Serbian banking, and for the IMF support of Serbian Central Bank that will provide support for the banks in possible danger.

“We are aware that it is in our own collective interest and in the interest of Serbia for all of us to subscribe to coordinated commitments to maintain our overall exposure to Serbia,” the agreement says but it obligates Serbian Central bank to perform bank stress tests and to fill in the holes “within the framework of the multilateral support programs, on bilateral basis with the NBS”.

Translation: The banks want Serbia’s central bank to provide them with help by borrowing from IMF.

Serbia’s escalation of debt should not set of any alarms yet because, as of the end of January, Serbian total external debt is $27.7 billion or 55% of country’s Gross National Product. Of that total debt only 8.5% is in short term loans which can cause crisis of payments and a run on the currency.

Growth of Serbia's external debt

Growth of Serbia's external debt

However, of the $25.4 billion that is short and medium term debt $16.8 or 66% is owed by private enterprises so any inability of the private enterprise to service such a large stock of private debt can lead to massive collapse in the economy.

In a sign of a rapid financial deterioration of Serbia’s private enterprise, the government has already asked IMF to “reprogram” some $7 billion of the enterprise loans, a code word for inability of private enterprise to pay its debts.

This is why Serbia’s private business has warned of an economic tsunami that will wipe out half the economy.

UN corruption in Kosovo

December 27th, 2008

From the Wall Street Journal:

An American-backed drive to curb misconduct at the United Nations is faltering, blighted by bureaucracy and accusations of retaliation against whistle-blowers.

Story of James Wasserstrom, a 25-year veteran of the UN and a former .N official in Kosovo who become a whistle-blower last year and was placed under investigation by the UN because of that:

In February of last year, Mr. Wasserstrom, the American whistle-blower, began making reports to New York about mismanagement and possible corruption in Kosovo’s energy sector on the part of senior U.N. officials in the formerly Serbian-controlled region. He provided no concrete evidence of graft. But in communications with the Office of Internal Oversight Services, the U.N.’s main investigative unit, Mr. Wasserstrom passed on information relating to a proposed new power plant known as Kosovo C. This included claims that U.N. officials were taking kickbacks. He says he had “no way of knowing if the information was true or not, but it was at the very least very worrying and needed to be investigated.”

At the time, Mr. Wasserstrom was the head of a U.N. office in Kosovo that monitored the electricity utility and other publicly owned enterprises. He also alleged that the U.N. Kosovo mission was colluding with local politicians to undermine the independence of publicly owned enterprises.

The OIOS declined to comment on the outcome of an investigation into the corruption and mismanagement concerns raised by Mr. Wasserstrom.

At the same time that OIOS was looking into Mr. Wasserstrom’s allegations, the U.N.’s personnel department in Kosovo announced what it said was a long-scheduled decision: Mr. Wasserstrom’s job was about to be eliminated.

Facing unemployment, he signed a contract to work as a private consultant for Kosovo’s main airport and the region’s telecommunications agency. Senior U.N. officials in Kosovo — the same people he wanted investigated — accused him of violating procedure and placed him under investigation for conflict of interest.

Detained at the Kosovo border by U.N. police in June last year, Mr. Wasserstrom says he had his American passport seized and car searched. His apartment in the Kosovo capital Pristina was also searched. Investigators sealed off his office, confiscated his computer and placed a “wanted poster” at entrances to the U.N. mission’s Kosovo headquarters. It featured a mug shot of Mr. Wasserstrom and an order barring the American from the premises. Official U.N. documents on the matter reviewed by The Wall Street Journal confirm this account.

“They treated me like a common criminal,” says Mr. Wasserstrom. After an investigation lasting nearly 11 months, he was cleared earlier this year of any wrongdoing. Mr. Wasserstrom in the meantime filed a retaliation complaint with Mr. Benson’s Ethics Office in New York. The U.N. says that 45 people similarly complained of retaliation over the 12 month period up to this July and that 18 of these cases warranted preliminary review.

In a letter to Mr. Wasserstrom in April, Mr. Benson said that while some of the measures taken against him “appeared to be excessive” and involved “investigative failures,” a detailed study of his treatment by U.N. investigators “did not find any evidence that these activities were retaliatory.”

Mr. Benson says he’s not allowed to comment on individual cases. The OIOS, which investigated Mr. Wasserstrom’s claims, says that retaliation is a “very specific type of conduct” and differs from other forms of mistreatment. In response to written questions, it did not address Mr. Wasserstrom’s case directly but noted that “abuse of authority and harassment” can also flow from “interpersonal problems” and other issues unrelated to retaliation.

Hungary proposes regional gas network

September 30th, 2008

Hungary is proposing a New European Transmission System for gas that will form a regional country network including Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Bosnia.

The rationally for this initiative is to drive the price of gas all these countries individually buy from Russia down. In addition, the network would share the risk in an event of some pipeline problems.

Croatian Plinacro, Hungarian FGSZ Natural Gas Transmission and Romanian Transgaz have signed a memorandum of understanding on this proposal, and in all likelihood, will lead the project.

Serbian Srbijagas and Slovenian Plinovidija are waiting it out to develop their own internal consensus and evaluate the strategy.

Serbia itself is trying to finalize a gas deal with Russia.

On the eve of the old 2007, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said that the political impasse on Kosovo status is threatening and “Should the impasse continue, events on the ground could take on a momentum of their own, putting at serious risk the achievements and legacy of the United Nations in Kosovo.”

Picture below is telling as to just what “the achievements and legacy of the United Nations” has been in this Serbian province since UN took over in 1999.

Kosovo’s negative impact on UN

December 21st, 2007
Comments Off

Former Serbian foreign minister Goran Svilanovic gets it exactly right with respect to Serbia when it comes to the impact of the recent UN Security Council meeting on Kosovo:

“Never before has a prime minister or president of Kosovo been invited to enter the Security Council room. Never has anyone been called who does not represent a sovereign country, a UN member state or a UN mission – that has never happened. It might not be pleasant for Serbia, but its position has been eroded,” Svilanovic said.

A more grave implication is for the UN itself, a forum for sovereign states not separatists like Kosovo Albanians whose demands violate the very charter, or reason for UNs existence.

This is like allowing Satan to tell God how he should organize heaven.

Kosovo Muslims separatists appeal to Islamics again

To the IslamOnline.net, Kosovo Albanian Ferid Agani, member of the provisional parliament of Kosovo Albanians:

“Generally speaking, there has been large support from the Muslim world [for Kosova's independence]. In addition, we still attain very strong support from the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), which is very important in case we resort to plan B: declaring independence unilaterally. In this case, the recognition of Kosova as an independent state by Muslim countries will greatly signify a substantial contribution to the future of Kosova as a new member in the international community.”

Continues he:

“Kosova will also serve as a bridge between the [Islamic] East and the West. We will always have in mind our [Islamic] heritage of the past and our aspiration for the future.”

The Ottoman Caliphate used the exact same bridge to decimate Greeks, Hungarians, Romanians, lay siege of Vienna…

Who is stalling investments into Serbia

October 8th, 2007

US Ambassador to Serbia Cameron Munter says that big American firms are “holding off on investment in Serbia until after the issue of its Kosovo province has been resolved peacefully,” reports Reuters.

Munter says that this summer he “met the managers of ’some twenty big U.S. companies,’ and all of them were very interested in investing in Serbia.”

What Munter is not saying is whether he was the one to tell these big US forms to stay on the side… and why so?… is it because Kosovo resolution may not be peaceful?

The Serbo-Judeo-Phobia Club

August 30th, 2007
Comments Off

The Serbo-Judeo-Phobia Club mentioned in Julia Gorin’s blog Amanpour’s Jewphobia is no Surprise Coming from a Serbophobe has its source and the source is the same one as the 9/11 terrorists: Saudi Arabia.

In 2002, Muslim World Council (aka Rabita), a proselytizing tool of the Saudi state that has a ponderous influence in the Organization of Islamic Conference, has officially designated Jews and Serbs as enemies of Islam.

“[A]ccording to the Islamic Fiqh Council, there are various forms of terrorism, which include state terrorism, the most conspicuous illustration and the most heinous of which is practiced in Palestine today by the Israelis, and by the Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo,” writes Muslim World League Journal in its July 2002 issue.

Both Serbia and Israel did not need this official Islamic designation to realize that an active Islamic conspiracy is seeking to exterminate them because policies practiced on them are nearly identical.

Consider the 2000 Rabita Communiqué that addresses the “Zionists” and Serbs.

On Jews:

“The communiqué called on the Chairman of the Jerusalem Committee, member states of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, and other Islamic and international commissions to take the necessary measures to put pressure on the Zionists to halt the judaization of Jerusalem, prevent the occurrence of any geographical or demographic change, remove all Jewish settlements from the occupied territories…”

On Serbs:

“The communiqué urged OIC member states to exert efforts to help the Muslims in Kosovo to gain their right for self-determination and establish their independent state, and to seek to put pressure on the Serbs to recognize that demand and provide all assistance to the Kosovan Muslims.”

In fact, just yesterday, Muslim “president” in Kosovo went public telling Serbs to give up on Kosovo. “It is important for Belgrade to understand that it is surely easier for them to give up their claim, once and for all,” said Muslim Sejdiu.

The Islamiane Amanpour is then just another in a long procession of useful media idiots that perpetuate a myth that a way for America to get along with the Muslim world is to inflict tangible pain on Jews and Serbs.

Saudi finance of terror in the Balkans

July 27th, 2007

From the U.S. Tracks Saudi Bank Favored by Extremists, Wall Street Journal that made the headline on serbianna:

Mr. Al Rajhi is a reclusive octogenarian whose fortune is estimated at $12 billion. And Al Rajhi Bank grew into the kingdom’s largest Islamic bank, with 500 branches in Saudi Arabia and more spread across the Muslim world.

***
Following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, the bank also set off an intense debate within the U.S. government over whether to take strong action against its alleged role in extremist finance. Confidential reports by the Central Intelligence Agency and other U.S. agencies, reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, detail for the first time how much the U.S. learned about the use of Al Rajhi Bank by alleged extremists, and how U.S. officials agonized over what to do about it.

***
The U.S. intelligence reports, heretofore secret, describe how Al Rajhi Bank has maintained accounts and accepted donations for Saudi charities that the U.S. and other nations have formally designated as fronts for al Qaeda or other terrorist groups.

***
A 2003 CIA report claims that a year after Sept. 11, with a spotlight on Islamic charities, Mr. Al Rajhi ordered Al Rajhi Bank’s board “to explore financial instruments that would allow the bank’s charitable contributions to avoid official Saudi scrutiny.”

A few weeks earlier, the report says, Mr. Al Rajhi “transferred $1.1 billion to offshore accounts — using commodity swaps and two Lebanese banks — citing a concern that U.S. and Saudi authorities might freeze his assets.” The report was titled “Al Rajhi Bank: Conduit for Extremist Finance.”

***
… in 2005, a U.S. judge dismissed Al Rajhi Bank from a lawsuit filed by relatives of Sept. 11 victims. The ruling said banks couldn’t be held liable for providing routine services to people who turned out to be terrorists.

***
The 2003 CIA report concluded: “Senior Al Rajhi family members have long supported Islamic extremists and probably know that terrorists use their bank.”

***
There is no reliable estimate of how much the Al Rajhis have given to promote Islam over the years, but an endowment holding much of Saleh Al Rajhi’s wealth gives an indication of the scale. Its Web site details nearly $50 million in direct donations within the kingdom to Islamic causes and at least $12 million in donations abroad. The overseas money went to aid embattled Muslims in Kosovo, Chechnya and the Palestinian territories and to finance Islamic instruction.

There are indications not all the giving was for such purposes. The Al Rajhi name appeared on a list of regular financial contributors to al Qaeda that was discovered in Sarajevo, Bosnia, in 2002. The list was authenticated for the Federal Bureau of Investigation that year by America’s top judicial witness against al Qaeda, a onetime al Qaeda business manager named Jamal Al Fadl, who is in the federal witness-protection program. He called the contributor list the “golden chain.”

A 2003 German police report said Sulaiman Al Rajhi and other family members had contributed more than $200,000 in 1993 to a charity that financed weapons for Islamic militants in Bosnia, in addition to providing humanitarian aid.

Back in the 1990s Clinton was very liberal with Serbian lives deliberately looking the other wy as the Jihadists were financing murder of Serbs. Today Condoleezza Rice is liberal with Serbian land conquered by these Jihadists. Hopefully soon, she may just give up on that.

The disingenuous UK

July 26th, 2007

It is clear that Serbia will definitively join EU even without Kosovo but Kosovo, on its own, will be an isolated drug haven with no prospects of ever joining the EU. Just look at the slightly more civilized Turkey and its prospects of ever joining the EU: nil!

So, it is amazing that the Muslim Albanian drug kings that run Kosovo support independence when the growth of their business depends on their ability to free-flow the drugs into the EU, particularly into London, where Kosovo Albanians are establishing a dominant position as the prominent heroin distributors in addition to their already dominant position as sex-slavers.

A European Serbia will be all to happy to issue a visa, perhaps in matter of minutes, to any Kosovo Albanian seeking fortunes in the UK drug and sex-slavery market.

London is a staunch supporter of Kosovo’s independence and a European Serbia could facilitate the British love for Muslim Albanians much more efficiently then an independent Kosovo ever could.

British “support” for independence is a very disingenuous prospect, indeed.

Christian tolerance of Muslims created woes for Serbia, expert

May 21st, 2007

In his recent op-ed at the Wall Street Journal, Bernard Lewis explains that, during the Cold War, if Muslims attempted to terrorize Russians the “punishment would be swift and dire… Soviet response through their local agents was swift, and directed against the family of the leader of the kidnappers.”

In an attempt to be humane to the uncompromising Jihadists, Israel takes a much softer approach and destroys the home of the Muslim terrorist.

As for America, says great Lewis: “If you said or did anything against the Americans, not only would there be no punishment; there might even be some possibility of reward, as the usual anxious procession of diplomats and politicians, journalists and scholars and miscellaneous others came with their usual pleading inquiries: ‘What have we done to offend you? What can we do to put it right?’”

Indeed, in the wee hours after the 9/11 tragedy, the family of Osama bin Laden was rounded up and flown across the US then across the world and into safety.

At the American Enterprise Institute 2007 Irving Kristol Lecture, Bernard Lewis drew a standing ovation from a packed house of conservative luminaries, including Vice President Dick Cheney, to whom he gave a lecture describing Muslim migration to Europe as an Islamic attack on the West and defended the Crusades as “a late, limited and unsuccessful imitation of the jihad” that spread Islam across much of the globe.

Lewis then touched upon the virtues of tolerance, something Washington extended immensely to the family of the terrorists:

“In the former Ottoman lands in southeastern Europe, the [Christian] leaders of what you might call the reconquest were somewhat more tolerant [then Christians of Western Europe] but not a great deal more. Some Muslim minorities remained in some Balkan countries, with troubles still going on at the present day. If I say names like Kosovo or Bosnia, you will know what I am talking about.”

So on 9/11 Washington was flying bin Laden’s to safety, today Washington wants Bosnian Serbs to accept Muslim domination in Bosnia; Serbia is being diplomatically molested to agree to give up part of its territory because Muslims of Kosovo demand it…

What’s next!?

Did the 4 Albanian terrorists have connections to Holbrooke, Clark?

According to Bloomberg the Kosovo Albanians that were planning to kill as many Americans as possible are: Dritan Duka, 28; Shain Duka, 26; Eljvir Duka, 23. Agron Abdullahu, 24.

Bloomberg says that:

The Dukas and Abdullahu are ethnic Albanians from the former Yugoslavia [read: Muslim-dominated Kosovo], U.S. officials said. The Duka brothers operated roofing businesses based in Cherry Hill… and Abdullahu worked at a supermarket, according to authorities.

Now, the New Jersey is stone throw from New York where the big-dog in the roofing business among the Muslim Kosovo Albanians is Florin Krasniqi, the man that funded and smuggled weapons to the Kosovo’s Muslim Albanian gunmen prior to 1999.

Since then, Krasniqi also funded John Kerry campaign but it is alleged that Krasniqi funded and still funds Thomas Lantos and his daughter in Congress, John McCain, Joseph Leiberman and Joseph Biden - all supporters of Kosovo independence, an illegal stand that seeks to dismember a democracy, namely Serbia, in order to have an independent state where more of these terrorists will attack America.

Lantos recently said that:

just a reminder to the predominantly Muslim-led government in this world that here is yet another example that the United States leads the way for the creation of a predominantly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe. This should be noted by both responsible leaders of Islamic governments, such as Indonesia, and also for jihadists of all color and hue. The United States’ principles are universal, and in this instance, the United States stands foursquare for the creation of an overwhelmingly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe.

Back in 1998, however, Krasniqi went to Pakistan to make weapons purchases, and Pakistan is one of the al-Qaeda nests. According to the latest book by Pakistani President Musharaff, Muslims consider war in Kosovo a Jihad.

Back in 1998, however, Krasniqi went to Pakistan to make weapons purchases, and Pakistan is one of the al-Qaeda nests. According to the latest book by Pakistani President Musharaff, Muslims consider war in Kosovo a Jihad.Krasniqi also funded the campaign of John Kerry and at the fundraiser Richard Holbrooke and Wesley Clark were also present chatting with Krasniqi and other former Muslim KLA members whom Krasniqi employed. Holbrooke and Clark extracted over $500,000 for Kerry on that fundraiser.

At one point during the fundraising Krasniqi called on to Wesley Clark to come join, both exuberant, telling Clark to shake hands because “This is your KLA”. Clark did not object to being identified as owner of that terrorist group.

It would be interesting to find whether any of the arrested Muslim Albanians on the Fort Dix terror plot were ever a KLA?

Were they ever employed by Krasniqi?

Were they at the Kerry fundraising?

…and notice how the FBI and US government identify these men as “born in former Yugoslavia” of which Serbia is the successor state. It is a disingenuous statement that deflects blame to the Muslim Kosovo Albanian collective - in fact blames Serbs - because Serbia is the successor state to Yugoslavia.

In the recent State Department’s report that Serbia is eager to work with US on terrorism while Muslim-dominated Kosovo is the terror nest al-Qaeda will and, given Fort Dix, IS becoming one with al-Qaeda.

We are yet to find out how much of this spin is attributed to Nicholas Burns, a man with a pronounced hatred of Serbs, appointed by Holbrooke’s boss, Clinton, that supports Kosovo independence and collaborates with an army of lawyers from the Council on Foreign Relations in order to find a legal stipulation that will tear Serbian sovereignty apart - a legal precedent by this “One World” group that believes sovereignty is the pits so that they can, once they elect either Obama Hussein or Hillary Rh(S)odom, tear up more states across the world.

International Crisis Group - a group that creates these crisis in the first place - is the European arm of these folks that have made a splendid anti-Bush propaganda out of a man that is a simple Christian that trully wishes freedom to all folks.

Congressman Lantos’ troubling friends

January 19th, 2007
Comments Off

On October 19, 2006, Congressman Tom Lantos from California sent a letter to the Montenegrin Prime Minister Zeljko Sturanovic expressing “strong concern over reports of police abuse” of 14 arrested ethnic Albanians in Montenegro.

“I strongly encourage the Montenegrin government to live up to international expectations by conducting an expedited, thorough and impartial investigation of the charges made against these prisoners and of the allegations of police abuse and torture,” Lantos wrote.

The Albanians that Lantos is concerned about in the letter were arrested by the Montenegrin police on September 9, 2006 in a raid on a village of Tuzi, south of Montenegrin capital Podgorica, because of their involvement in terrorism and organized crime.

“The ethnic Albanian villages near the border with Albania are known smuggling routes for drug, arms and cigarette smuggling,” writes International Herald Tribune.

The details of the terror plot on Montenegro were, at the time, unclear, until recently when an Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung uncovered that an ethnic Albanian Dodu Ljucaj that was arrested at a Vienna airport on December 8, 2006 was to detonate 2 bombs in the Montenegrin Parliament.

Dodu Ljucaj was an al-Qaeda connected Kosovo Albanian, says Kronen, and the group of arrested ethnic Albanians in Montenegro were all in on the bombing plot.

Bosnian Muslims demand the green part of Montenegro, Croatians the gray part and Albanian liberation extremists want the red part.

Among the arrested ethnic Albanians in this bombing plot on the Montenegrin Parliament is Kola Dedvukaj, a US citizen, and a staunch contributor to the campaign coffers of Tom Lantos.

Among the arrested ethnic Albanians in this bombing plot on the Montenegrin Parliament is Kola Dedvukaj, a US citizen, and a staunch contributor to the campaign coffers of Tom Lantos.According to the NewsMeat web site that, among other things, tracks candidate donor rolls for contributions over $200, Kola Dedvukaj was Lantos’ 2006 donor as is his relative, Djon Dedvukaj who was also arrested in Montenegro and implicated in the same terror plot.

Dedvukaj’s were also active donors to the political campaign of Tom Lantos’ daughter, Katrina Swett who represents New Hampshire’s 2nd district.

According to Shirley Cloyes DioGuardi that presents herself as the Balkan Affairs Adviser to the Albanian American Civic League, at a 2002 fundraising dinner at the St. Paul Catholic Church ran by Father Anton Kcira of Michigan, Tom Lantos has “pledged his commitment, and that of his daughter, Katrina Swett, to help Albanians wherever they live in the Balkans to overcome their historical disadvantages in order to succeed, prosper, and live with dignity.”

“Just as he played a critical role in internationalizing the Albanian issue in Kosova, Tom Lantos is now prepared to do the same for Albanians in Montenegro,” explains DioGuardi.

Representative Sander Levin reassuring protesting Albanians in front of the White House that he will work hard to find the way to have the Albanian terrorists released from Montenegro.

In August 2003, Congressman Tom Lantos went on a fact-finding mission with a delegation to ethnic Albanians to the Adriatic Montenegro and in the delegation accompanying Lantos was also Kola Dedvukaj. Prior to visiting Montenegro, however, Lantos stopped over to his native Hungary to celebrate his 75th birthday and it is unclear who paid for that trip.

The object of Lantos’ hearing was to make “recommendations to the Bush Administration” and Kole Dedvukaj’s hand-picked friends from Montenegro testified that Montenegro has annexed “Albanian lands” and is engaged in racist genocide of Montenegrin Albanians.

London Economist recently explained that “Albanian nationalists generally dislike the term ‘Greater Albania’, preferring to talk about ‘ethnic Albania’. This covers not just Albania, Kosovo and western Macedonia, but parts of Serbia and Montenegro too”…!

Grishaj then went on to deliver an inflammatory speech that “reminded” Montenegro that “you, are comprised of Albania’s lands unjustly annexed by the Congress of Berlin (1878), the London Conference of Ambassadors (1913), the Versailles Peace Treaty (1919),” and that ethnic Albanians in Montenegro’s Malesia area should rise up!

“Therefore, arise, Malesi arise!” exclaimed Grishaj to the delight of the audience and added “And don’t ask, but rather demand…”

However, Rep. Tom Lantos is not the only one with firm ties to terrorist figures in the Balkans.

On August 24, 2005, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher also went to Montenegro on a fact-finding mission and Kola Dedvukaj was the man in his delegation as well.

Rohrabacher declared there that “the Montenegrin government would have to grant Albanians in Tuzi the same rights enjoyed by municipalities in which Slavs are a majority if it wanted admission to the European Union.”

In Infiltration: How Muslim Spies and Subversives have Penetrated Washington the author Paul Sperry uncovers that radical Muslim groups have contributed substantial amounts of money to Rohrabacher in order to have him support anti-Jewish groups including Hamas, as well as violent Albanian groups across the the Balkans.

In 2001, for example, Rohrabacher said that “the Kosova Liberation Army [KLA] should have been armed” then proceeded to castigate them as “freedom fighters” equal to the American Founding Fathers!

However, according to a 2002 Department of Defense Report titled Narcotics-Funded Terrorist/Extremist Groups the “KLA guerrillas and Albanian liberation extremists have used profits from their participation in Taliban-sponsored narcotics smuggling to re-arm themselves after the disarmaments that occurred from 1999 to 2001,” concluding that:

“Regional trafficking in the Balkans and the Adriatic is likely to remain at a high level, thus presenting an ongoing opportunity for guerrilla/terrorist groups to participate. That trend is promoted by the increased inter-group cooperation and sophistication that has been noted in recent years in the Balkan and Adriatic regions.”

Is Rohrabacher on the side of Taliban?

Still another in Congress that fuels Albanian violence in Montenegro under disguise of human rights concern is Carl Levin and his nephew Sander, both close to the ethnic Albanian political movements in USA.

Carl Levin, for example, has pledged that he “will continue its efforts to ensure that Montenegro follows all domestic and international laws with those under arrest,” while his nephew Sander met the protesting Albanians in Washington assuring them that Levins will seek ways to prove that Montenegro is violating human rights of the arrested terrorists and on basis of that violation get them free.

Carl Levin was once a guest of the Albanian Islamic Center in Harper Woods, a suburb of Detroit, but of a Jihadist involvement of Albanian Muslim groups in the US more on, perhaps, some other future postings.

Kosovo and the benevolence of Islam

December 28th, 2006

In the Hijrah 1256, Turkish Grand Sultan Abdul Mejid I summoned Yashar-Pasha, the ruler of the Uskub, to the Sublime Porte where upon arrival Yashar-Pasha was strangled to death with a silk cord.

Strangling of Turkish officials was often used to improve loyalty to the Turkish-ran Islamic Caliphate and in the case of Yashar Pasha, his independent streak and a probable association with Turkish Dahias, a Janisarry order that sought to reform the Caliphate by means of increasing savageries against the infidel they ruled, made the strangling even more prodigious.

Yashar Pasha was a nephew of Malich Pasha, famous for his contribution to Jihad by participating in a beheading ceremony of 1000 Serbian dignitaries in 1809, whose skulls were used to build Cele Kula, the Tower of Sculls, with the skulls of beheaded Serbs neatly stacked in 14 rows where the skulls were embedded.

Cele Kula, the Tower of Skulls, was built by Muslim rulers of Serbia in 1809 after they beheaded 1000 Serb nobles.

Yashar was, indeed, exceptionally groomed by his uncle to be an exemplary Islamic ruler and upon Yashar’s takeover of the Uskup province, a region that includes today’s Kosovo, the lot of the Muslim Albanians improved tremendously.

Yashar’s first financial act was to pay a visit to an elderly Kosovo Serb Vucich, a meek and very pious Christian who moved from Donje Gusterice to Gracanica that was just cleansed of Christians by the Muslims, the faith most Albanians adopted.

Toiling his field when Yashar Pasha and his posse interrupted Vucich:

“Whose property is this, rayah?” said Yashar Pasha referring to Vucich as rayah, a word that denotes inferiority of a Christian in the Islamic dominion.

“God’s first then mine, benevolent Pasha,” replies Vucich.

“It isn’t mine!?… you son of a bitch,” roared Yashar Pasha while swiping his whip across Vucich’s face.

Bleeding, Vucich covers, falls to the ground, silent.

“Paki!” shout one of Yashar’s sejmeni (enforcers).

Sejmeni jump off the horse, grab Vucich and drag the old man to the pear tree.

“Mother of God, forgive me, the sinner, and save my name,” utters Vucic.

“Damned your name,” replied sejmeni and strung Vucich up on the pear tree as the old man stared at Gracanica for salvation.

At some point, Yashar Pasha came up with a more ambitious infrastructure plan for Kosovo then simply stringing up Christian Serbs for property: he decided to build a bridge over Sitnica River at the Kosovo village of Lipljani, known today as one of the flashpints of Muslim Albanian attacks on Kosovo’s Christian Serbs.

In order to adequately supply his stone-masons, Yashar Pasha ordered that Christian Serb churches in villages of Batus, Skulanovo, Rajce and Slovinja be demolished, but carefully enough, so that the demolished stone can be transported and used in building the bridge. As his stone masons complained that the supply isn’t enough, Yashar Pasha sent his posse to Lipljan to demolish that church, but for some mysterious reason decided not to.

Pious Christians say that miracle of Christ resides in the Lipljan church, even today, because Yashar Pasha was kept away from destroying it.

Yashar Pasha was also benevolent towards Christians and Jews in Kosovo’s capital, Pristina, forcing many small shops, most of them Jewish, to be turned over to Islamic owners.

In 1830, however, Yashar Pasha, for some reason, allowed reconstruction of the demolished church of Saint Nicholas in Pristina, first one after all three previous ones, including Saint Petka and Saint Lazarus, were either demolished or turned into mosques. For hundreds of years, Christian Serbs lit candles during Christian holidays at the ruins of Saint Nicholas in Pristina.

The rebuilt Saint Nicholas church was done in a strict Islamic legal code: 4 basamaks lower then any mosque, also a phenomena of the contemporary Kosovo where new mosques must be taller then churches that have not yet been demolished.

Before his silken death, Yashar Pasha left Kosovo his benevolent legacy of Islamic piety: the Yashar Pasha Mosque in Pristina, which, much unlike the Christian Serb churches he demolished to the ground, still stands in Pristina albeit with a need of reconstruction.

UN was alarmed that the Yashar Pasha Mosque, left as the legacy of Islam to Muslim Albanians, has suffered tone deterioration due to salt efflorescence (left) and a crack in the dome transition zone. Hundreds of Christian churches across Kosovo remain unrepaired after Muslim Albanians have demolished them since 1999.

“There are some cracks in the pendentive area of the building,” describes UN in its action plan for reconstruction of the Yashar Pasha mosque in Kosovo. “The lead dome covering is cracked and causes dampness by rain infiltration through the roof. The dampness in the building is also caused by capillary action. The iron bars laid in the dome drum should be checked (rust damage).”

“€223,000 for architectural documentation, structure assessment, diagnostic study and restoration works,” assesses UN of Yashar Pasha Mosque, a remarkable amount of money to be spent on a legacy of a man that did his utmost to demolish Christianity in order to forcibly create an Islamic identity of Kosovo.

The benovolence of Islam in Kosovo still continues.

Kosovo Albanian Jihadist Undercurrent

Carol Gilligan became famous in the feminist circles in the 1990s with her powerful analysis of voices: the tenor, choice of words and images used in speech are gender differentiated and that tenor and choice conveys intent and determines outcomes. What one learns from this feminist hypothesis is that voices matter and listening, often taken for granted, is a powerful indicator of intent, personal and social.

If we are to extend this feminist voices hypothesis to the mainstream Kosovo Albanian media and start listening for patterns in tenor, choice of words and images, the emerging intent is radically Islamic, implied and never direct, occurring in the midst of daily devastation of Christian heritage that is occurring in today’s Kosovo.

Front page of Kosovo Albanian Gazeta Besa with an implied endorsement of Jihad with the loving, gentle touch on the face of Nasrallah, leader of terrorist Hezballah.

Take titles from the few of the latest Kosovo Albanian Gazeta Besa issues:

  • 600 vjet Islam
  • As the imagery of voices, patterned Islam shqiptare, implied and never direct, attempts to hide the Kosovo Albanian anti Western ethical undercurrent, the flirtatious jihadist tenor and imagery indicates rather clearly that independent Kosova would seek to integrate itself within the islamesque orientalist cultural milieu despite overt claims otherwise.

“Albanians got to know about hadith [islamic tradition] since early days of Islam in Albania. The content of the Prophet’s (p.b.u.h) traditions has strongly influenced their moral and awareness,” writes Dr. Ramiz Zekaj, a professor in Tirana, Albania, and the author of The Development of the Islamic Culture Among Albanians In the XXth Century. Among other things, the work cites an example of a text by Ahmed Kondo that “enlightens in an indirect and direct way the activity of an orientalist for the good of Albanian culture.”

… and a quote by Sulejman Rexhepi, leader of Islamic Community of Macedonia, on a monograph of Demir Behluli, an Albanian scholar that wrote Original arabesque in a mosque in East Kosova.

Says Rexhepi: “It is to be appreciated his tendency in putting Albanian arabesque besides original ones, national symbols besides religious ones.”

Of course, there is absolutely nothing deviant about professing one’s Islamic cultural heritage, but in case of Kosovo, it comes at the expense of daily destruction of Christian heritage, and it is this simultaneous mix of flirtatious jihadist rhetoric and an ongoing destruction of Christianity that makes any discussion of tolerance mute.

In fact, to Kosovo Albanians, a Westerner and a Kosovo Christian Bishop who requires two armed UN bodyguards to protect him from Kosovo Albanian mob, deserves a discourse on resurrection of islamophobic fascism - Virus Fashizmus.

So, here is what the Islamic world towards which Kosovo Albanians seek to integrate thinks should the solution for Kosovo be: this audio recorded by a jihadist spiritual speaker Muhammad Jamil - Kosovo Bosnia Lessons We Forgot - should be listened to understand what the long-term implication of an independent, a Muslim dominated Kosovo, will be.

For now, Wahabi mosques in Kosovo, built under the noses of NATO, is the sufficient prerequisite for the Islamic vision of the independent Kosova.

    UKs propaganda peddlers

“When billions of television viewers see aerial shots of the London Olympics, they won’t see St. Paul’s Cathedral or any other traditional British landmark, they will see a mosque,” says Alan Craig, a representative of the Christian Peoples Alliance on Newham Council in London. The proposed London mosque is to be larger then a stadium that will fit 60,000 worshippers and it represents English failure “to integrate a growing Muslim population amid concerns about homegrown terrorists”.

Once mighty Albion welcomed the Muslims that came not to be integrated into London but to integrate London into Islam.

Contemporary England comes across as the victim of its own denial: it’s media has been peddling self-aggrandizing moral elevation over those victimized by Islam elsewhere in Europe, so much so that once, oh so! rational Margaret Thatcher comes across as a senile witch that has turned from iron into rust. Her last book, Statecraft, laced with quotes from the contemporary English propagandeur, Noel Malcolm, represents the vintage-best that, once incisive English, can come up with now.

On page 300, for example, Thatcher calls Malcolm “the soundest and wisest” in analyzing an alleged Bosnian “genocide” during which al-Qaeda got its European footing, that got Kosovo Albanians to sell Semtex to London bombers that killed the English…

    So, congratulations Noel Malcolm!

Back in, say, 1860, when reason and not denial, dominated England, London’s consuls sent dispatches much similar about the victimized Christians against whom the contemporaries gloat at their victimization.

Sale of a Christian Family to a Muslim buyer in conquered Constantinople, painted by Ellendigh in 1663.

Says Consul J.E. Blunt to Sir Henry Bulwer from Pristina, then known as province of Uscub (Skopje) on July 14, 1860: “For the long time, the province [of Uscub] has been a prey to brigandage: this evil originating from a mountain population unsubdued, and eminently warlike and mercenary, has more sway in the plains. But it may be said that the development has been rather arrested than promoted; Christian churches and monasteries, towns and inhabitants, are not now pillaged, massacred, and burnt by Albanian hordes as used to be done ten years ago.”

On July 12, 1860, English Consul Charles J. Calvert sent a response to Sir Henry Bulwer’s Query 12 that asked “When cases of oppression against the Christians take place, is this generally owing to the acts of the Government or the fanaticism of the population?”

Calvert: “They are attributable chiefly to the innate hatred which Mussulmans bear towards Christians.”

“The Mussulman always considers himself the Christian’s superior, and whenever he acts with kindness towards the Christian it is with a species of condescension and forbearance which converts a right into a favour,” wrote Calvert.

76 years later, in 1936, English recruited servile Islamic Qadiani agents to infiltrate Albania and Kosovo in order to quell Muslim Albanian call to Jihad, roused by Hitler’s call to kill Jews. Muhammad Din was sent to Albania and Kosovo to propagate against Jihad.

“In accordance with the political needs of the time, Muhammad Din prepared and disseminated anti-Jehad literature and sang the songs in praise of British Imperialism. The Muslim leaders in Albania were alarmed at his activities. He was suspected a British spy and expelled from Albania,” writes Qadiani chronicler Tarikh.

Jubilant Muslim Turkish mob after pogrom of Christian Greeks in Constantinople.

Since 1999, Kosovo’s Muslim Albanians have engaged in religious cleansing of Christian Serbs and the English, like Noel Malcolm who has spent an enormous amount of ink syllogizing that such cleansing is a result of Christian behavior, do not deserve the same fate just because the seniles of the contemporary England are duping their own into destruction.

Kosovo as Jihad - the Excerpts

In the forthcoming interview for the Athens based Research Institute for European and American Studies, I’ve paraphrased a portion of, well, another forthcoming and a rather lengthy text of mine, Kosovo as Jihad, saying that:

The Islamic world has defined Kosovo as an Islamic issue despite the enormous effort by the Western media to portray Kosovo conflict as a regional ethnic dispute. The essence here is not to waste time debating who is correct [because] granting independence to Kosovo means capitulating to the Islamic violence and signaling the Islamic extremists that the “infidel” West is weak so more Muslim violence should be applied. Of course, critics in the West say that this conclusion is nonsense, that Kosovo is not jihad, but the fact remains that, despite Western objections, Muslim world will do precisely that, declare victory in Kosovo as a victory for Jihad if Kosovo ever becomes independent.

There is an abundance of evidence that, for Muslims, Kosovo is Jihad and al Qaeda fighters flocked there to kill Serbs.

In 1998, Albania’s Director of intelligence service, Fatos Klosi, said that “We have information about three or four groups, there are Egyptians, Saudi Arabians, Algerians, Tunisians, Sudanese.” Washington was using Albania at that time as a military base.

Still, the most recent evidence that the Kosovo Albanian violence is indeed an Islamic Jihad, comes from the most recent book by the Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, himself a ‘moderate’ Muslim and an American ally in war on terror. Says Musharraf:

It is believed in some quarters that while Omar Sheikh was at the LSE [London School of Economics] he was recruited by the British intelligence agency MI-6. It is said that MI-6 persuaded him to take an active part in demonstrations against Serbian aggression in Bosnia and even sent him to Kosovo to join the jihad.

Omar Sheikh was the leader of the London based Al Muhajiroun and he subsequently beheaded the Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.

Again, we can play British parliamentarians here and seek evidence for MI-6 involvement in facilitating Islamic jihad in Kosovo, or, from a pro-active policy matter, it should be self-evident here that even the ‘moderate’ Islamic leadership, an ally of America and a President of a country with enormous intelligence resources, knows that Kosovo is no ethnic dispute but Jihad - a violent Islamic territorial conquest of infidel land for benefit of Allah.

In fact, on May 7, 1999, Omar Sheikh issued a call to all Muslims to join the jihad to “liberate Muslim land” in Kosovo.

As far back as November 30, 1998, according to a Scotsman report, “the US is worried that unless it makes concessions [to Kosovo Albanian jihadists], it might drive the rebel movement into the arms of the fundamentalists.”

Soon after Omar’s call for Jihad, Clinton gave the Kosovo Albanians an “unusual honour of being taken off a register of organisations the US defines as terrorists.” [Scotsman]

… of course, Clinton never had sex with ‘that’ woman, never gave honor to ‘that’ terror organization, throws a tantrum if told he’s a liar… blah, blah… and incidentally, when asked of his impression after his visit to Kiev’s Saint Vladimir’s Cathedral in the early 1990s, the most holiest shrine to Russians much like St. Patrick is to Irish, Clinton dryly replied that he loved the architecture!

We now know indeed which object was the moral guidepost of that American president.

Wahabis: Replacing last of Kosovo deported Jews

    October 22nd, 2006
    Comments Off

As the Serbian army began its retreat from Kosovo in June 1999, armed Muslim gunmen of the terrorist Albanian organization, KLA, went door to door searching for non Albanians to either kill if they are a Serb, or to expel out of the province if Jew or otherwise.

On June 26, 1999 the last of the 13 remaining Kosovo Jews were rounded up by the Muslim Albanians and deported to Skopje. Once there, these deported Kosovo Jews told the JDC’s Eliezri that the Albanian military busted into their apartments and drove them out at a gunpoint.

Since the expulsion of the last of Kosovo Jews, Muslims of that province became hosts to the Wahabis and other Islamic extremist sects that are relentlessly building masques across the province and recruiting local Muslim Albanians by the droves. Saudis, Kuwaitis and others have built mosques to supply the surging pious among Kosovo Albanians.

Bin Laden mosque in Kosovo: a crisp and expensive mosque towers the skyline of the Kosovo city.

Reliable sources on the ground in Kosovo confirm that Wahabis are tremendously popular among young Muslim Albanians, that UNMIK is afraid to patrol certain quarters where Kosovo Wahabis dominate and that even the peacekeepers themselves are afraid that their action may trigger a violent reprisal.

According to Gregory Copley, the President of the International Strategic Studies Association, “three major heroin production laboratories, run by the KLA, are operating within the area of Kosovo which has been under the control of US Army units operating from Camp Bondsteel. Ironically, to support the KLA which the former US Clinton Administration had deemed an ally, some US authorities operating in the area specifically protected the laboratories from inspection by other NATO forces in the area.”

Sources on the ground have thus far confirmed that the Kosovo heroin boss is the former Kosovo Albanian Prime Minister, Ramus Haradinaj, who is wanted by the war crimes tribunal in the Hague.

It has been, unofficially, suggested that the reason that the Hague Court is delaying Haradinaj prosecution is because his heroin thugs in Kosovo have threatened to kill American soldiers unless he is let free. The source suggests that a “gentlemen’s agreement” has been struck between the drug running Albanians and the CIA: Hague lets the drug boss free, leaves the Muslim Albanian distribution network in Kosovo intact in exchange for sparing American lives in Kosovo.

It may soon be confirmed that al Qaeda is drawing its share of the heroin money from these Muslim Albanian activities in Kosovo in order to fund their terror operations against the West.

Recent beating of an American peacekeeper by local Albanian Muslims illustrates the fragility of the American military position in that province if Muslim Albanian drug interests are threatened: an unnamed American soldier was found off duty at a gas station and beaten silly by Muslim Albanians because his unit took part in foiling an unidentified illegal plot. Associated Press was precise in suppressing details behind and of the incident itself.

A Wahabi mosque towers over a desolate Church in Urosevac, Kosovo. According to the rules of Jihad, a mosque has to be taller then the church that has not been destroyed in order to demonstrate superiority of Islam over other religions.

Meanwhile Albania itself is undergoing its nascent Jihadist catharsis. A leader of Albania’s Muslim community of Albania denounced the decision by a university to suspend a female student for wearing a veil to school and Associated Press has, once again, gone out of its way to claim that Albania is “predominantly Muslim, but secular”.

The degree with which the political leaders are complacent to the Jihadist activities across the world is rather remarkable and the mainstream media is echoing this naiveté. BBC refuses to call the Jihadists in the London bombings terrorists; Spanish blame Bush for the Madrid attack instead of Muslim extremist desire to reconquer al Andalus; persecuted Christian Serbs are told that their future is in the independent Islamic Kosovo ran by Muslim drug lords and heroin thugs…

The seductive affinity of conspiracy theories, once again, confirms human propensity to believe untruth be it the phantom Elders of Zion that for thousands of years cannot conquer the world or the more immediate ones like an alleged Serbian Horse Shoe conspiracy used as an excuse for a sadistic Jihadism by Albanians in Kosovo.

    Jihad’s Redux: Kosovo & Bosnia

At the regional conference of EU liaison officers for the Western Balkans held today in the Serbian capital Belgrade, European Police Office (Europol) chief Max Peter Ratzel said that there is still a great danger of Islamic extremism and terrorism in the Balkans.

“Europol shares the EU’s belief that there will be more terrorist attacks, while the Balkans is an area where people can be found for such activities,” Ratzel said directly alluding to the dangers of the so called “White al Qaeda” or suicidal Muslims with European racial features recruited among Balkan Muslims in Kosovo and Bosnia.

Ratzel said that there are arms caches which are being used for terrorist activities and that money from certain criminal activities has been used to finance terrorism.

According to Europol and Scotland Yard, Muslim Albanian gangs are “extremely violent and well armed, with a sizable presence also in the London underworld’s heroin trade”.

Recent CRS Report for Congress authored by Steven Woehrel, Specialist in European Affairs Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Trade Division, claims that the “United States has a variety of instruments to fight terrorism in the Balkans. One is the direct involvement of U.S. troops in Bosnia and Kosovo”.

Washington has over 2000 troops tied up in the region.

For 2006, Congressional Budget Justification for Foreign Operations has set aside $159 million to fight terror in the Balkans of which $35 million is for operations in Albania, $52 million for Bosnia and $72 million for Kosovo. The fact that the largest share of Washington’s anti-terror spending goes on Kosovo is indicative of the size of the Islamic terrorist presence in Kosovo.

“Some terrorists now fighting in Iraq may decide to redeploy to other regions, including the Balkans, in the future,” says Woehrel and adds that “future recruits from the Balkans could also go to Iraq to join the insurgency. Terrorists could obtain weapons and explosives from the region’s thriving black market in such items for use in attacks in Western Europe or other regions.”

After being abandoned by Laden’s Qaeda terrorists in 2001, the Afghan city of Jalalabad left clues of the effectiveness of the al Qaeda recruitment of Kosovo Albanians.

Writes USA Today: “Perhaps most telling about the minds of those who trained here is a document found at the camp. ‘I am interested in suicide operations,’ wrote Damir Bajrami, a 24-year-old ethnic Albanian from Kosovo, on his entry application in April 2001. ‘I have Kosovo Liberation Army combat experience against Serb and American forces. I need no further training. I recommend (suicide) operations against (amusement) parks like Disney.’

The future danger is that these sort of notes written by Kosovo Albanians may appear more frequently after and if the Contact Group decides to grant this Serbian province independence.
