Roundup: 48 kilos of heroin stolen in Kosovo
Close to 48 kilos of heroin has been stolen from the police ethnic Albanian station in the separatist capital of Kosovo, Pristina, reports the police.
“A special investigative commission is examining the inventory in the room for proof and according to the work so far 47 kilos and 627 grams of heroin is missing,” says the separatist police.
In addition to heroin, 3,828 EUROS, 6.5 million Turkish Lira, 5,000 Romania Lei, 520 Indian Rupies and 950 ALbanian Lek have been stolen.
The heist occurred on the night of Friday evening.
The investigators believe that the police in the department were in on it because no one was murdered during the break in.
The commission is also conducting an internal investigation of the police.

EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov touched upon the issue of Kosovo during their regular EU-Russian partnership council meeting. The details of the conversation were not disclosed.

Kosovo Bishop Artemije has asked the UN to stop the illegal construction on the Serbian Church property in the monastery of Gracanica because the building is done by illegal institutions with out any approval by the owners of the property.
“besides violating the international right to private property ownership, they are violating the holy space and cultural goods that are on the lists of world cultural heritage,” said Artemije.

Kosovo’s ethnic Albanian separatist media says that US vice-president Joe Biden may tour the Balkans and visit Kosovo. US diplomatic representatives in Kosovo said that “We cannot confirm such a visit.”
Serbia’s Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said that, while he was in Washington, he was told a high-ranking U.S. delegation would visit Serbia in May.
Biden is known for his public anti Serbian sentiments and was consistent in supporting all militants that attacked Serbs across the Balkans in the last 2 decades. During the democratic convention last year, Biden’s son brandished Serbs as “thugs”.
Over the weekend, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that US has unfinished business in Bosnia.

Israel’s Ambassador to Serbia Arthur Koll reiterated that Israel has not changed its position on the recognition of Kosovo and that Israel will not recognize the self-proclaimed independence ethnic Albanian separatist made last year. Koll expressed deep concern about Serbia’s relation with Iran.

Kosovo maybe doesn’t belong to Serbia in the 21st century, but maybe in the 22nd century it will, The whole history of the world is written by the wars because without having wars, you cannot write history because we always have the winners AND the losers. I feel sorry to express this opinion even tho I’m calling myself independent. But 1 thing I can’t understand, even Serbs & Albanians do not relize how the future can built. After all of this, both the countries will fight to become members in EU which means no political border & the whole war happened in order to make political borders. Should Kosovo be or not to be a part of Serbia, it doesn’t depend on Albanians or Serbians, it depends on those who are leading us in the darkness. Regarding the heroin you are talking about, you never know, maybe it has been split up between the Albanians & the Serbs which can be proven through the media “relationship between Albanians & Serbs in the business world, is perfect” but their political relationship shows that they both want to be the hero.
