Albanian organ extraction from Serbs probed
Europe’s top human rights watchdog is launching a probe into Serb allegations that ethnic Albanian guerrillas kidnapped Serb civilians during Kosovo’s war, removed their organs and sold the body parts on the black market.
Leading the probe is Dick Marty, a Swiss senator representing the Council of Europe. He is expected to meet top Serbian judiciary and war crimes officials during his two-day visit to Belgrade starting Monday.
Serbian officials say up to 500 Kosovo Serbs vanished without a trace during the 1998-99 war. They claim at least some of them may have had organs removed.
Ethnic Albanian officials deny the claims. They say the allegations are part of Serbian propaganda against Kosovo’s independence, declared last year with Western backing.

If this really happened, I hope that the perpetrators are put under arrest and send to jail forever. Such a traffic shows how our humanity fails at times.

Veljkovic, the article talks about «a probe into Serb allegations». Do you have other source that makes you be so affirmamtive?
Daniel, the whole thing started with Carla Delponte’s book in which she talks about this taking place. There was evidence brought to Hague but Hague destroyed the evidence. Now we have to start gathering evidence again and hope that more will be found. Carla is known to be against the Serbs, so why would she then write it if not true?
Also, there are two Albanians who were there and admitted to this because they were appauled at what happned.
Even if the accusations came from Serbs only, why would you doubt that they are not true? Are you be ready to dismiss this? Are you saying that Serbs cannot be trusted and every accusation has to be verified. That’s what the investigation is supposed to do. Let’s hope that they have more evidence out there. Much was already destroyed at Hague. Why I wonder.
It is obvious that the Albanians are guilty of these disgusting crimes against humanity, the only question is does this Swiss senator have the will and inclination to prove it ? l suspect not, a half hearted investigation followed by further coverups; afterall the Albanians can do no wrong in the eyes of the council of Europe and EU, only Serbs can be demonised !!!
Peggy, all accusations have to be verified. Let’s say, I accuse you of mistreatment, I have to prove this. This has nothiong to do with the fact that you are Serb or Italian, or French.

However, everything Albanians claim gets accepted without any verification. DelPonte left because, as much as she wanted to punish the Serbs she learned the Serbs are actually the good guys here.
Daniel, I know how this works. When someone claims that Serbs did this or that it is immediatelly taken as fact, but when Serbs make a claim based on one of Hague’s judge’s claims you say, wait and see.
Tell us then, why do you think Carla would be lying? Why do you think they destroyed the evidence of this in Hague? I would really like to to know your answer.

Daniel, sure, you wait and see. I already know because the Hague destroyed evidence which was collected on this long ago. Why? The fact that there was evidence to destroy proves that this took place.
By all mans, you wait and see so that you can say, see no evidence, nothing happened.
I can only hope that they missed some evidence and it will be found this time. They do have witnesses though, so this is a good start.

The Serbs have been demonized during the war because they of crimes committed by paramilitaries and local militias in detention camps such as Omarska, Brcko, Keraterm and others, and for atrocities such as the one committed by the Lukic cousins who burned alive 130 women and children. The focus was put on Serbs and crimes committed by Muslims and Croats were shoved under the carpet. Even at The Hague, war criminal such as Oric was let go. I can understand your ressentment. This traffic of human organs would not surprised me. This war was ugly and all ethnies have shown a disrespect for human life easily comparable to what the SS and nazis have shown during WW2.
How do you know The hague destroyed evidence??? Come on! You try to demonize The Hague because they’ve sent to jail criminals like the Lukic cousins who behaved just as bad as the Albanians who removed organs on dead bodies. There were no angels in that civil war and all those who committed crimes should be hanged for the atrocities they have committed and this starts with Milosevic, Tujdman, Oric, Gotovina, Mladic and all others. The Serbs were made into the bad guys all the way through. Not much was mentioned in the zionist “western” press about how the Croats ethnically cleansed Serbs when the old Yugoslavia broke up, or how the “ethnic” Albanians were kidnapping and murdering Serb police and citizens and burning down Serbian Orthodox churches and monastaries.
