NATO restores ties with Albanian separatist gunmen

Mar 8, 2010

NATO has restored training of armed Albanian separatist military units after briefly suspending them over the weekend.

The suspension came after these so-called Kosovo Security Force or KSF held a military style parade that broke the force’s agreement to focus only on civil emergencies.

“We hereby assess as overcome’ the issue of KSF’s participation at Sunday’s ceremony, Kosovo’s Security Forces Ministry said in a statement. ‘The KSF will continue the close cooperation with KFOR and NATO,’” a statement said.

Made up of ethnic Albanian criminals and killers, the KSF styles itself as a future army of an independent country of Kosovo whose independence has been scantly recognized by 65 states mostly at the urging and pressure of the United States.

The rest of the world is not recognizing the separatist Albanian claims to independence.

Analysts believe that NATOs initial suspension of training was meant to raise tensions in the province.

“Any additional worsening of the relation and the KSF will come close to turning their guns on NATO,” says an analyst who wants to stay anonymous.

  1. I wonder how much money it took and who was paid to this stupidity to be restored.

It’s obvious. NATO pretended to complain in order to pacify the Serbs in case Serbs got angry at what happened. Now the ties are restored, Serbs are under the impression that NATO will keep an eye on this, business as usual.
Tadic has to tell EULEX to get out of Kosovo before it’s too late.
