Kosovo a condition for Serbia’s “EU accession”
Serbia was told by the EU that there is no separation between Serbia’s position on Kosovo and Serbia’s EU membership.
In clear terms, sources say, top officials of Belgium told Serbia’s President Tadic that Kosovo and Serbia’s EU membership are not separate issues.
Tadic was told by the Belgian officials that granting Serbia the status of candidate country would depend on Belgrade’s moves concerning Kosovo.
Belgian officials said that the EU could seek from the European Commission an opinion on Serbia’s candidacy for membership no sooner than in December.
The European Commission opinion has thus far been a “technical matter” but the signals indicate that the opinion will depend on Serbia’s acceptance of EU’s diktat on Kosovo.
EU is not demanding that Serbia immediately recognize Kosovo but is demanding that Serbia does not seek a UN Resolution that seeks talks on status of Serbia’s Kosovo province.
Sources have said last night that EU may have forwarded a draft resolution to Belgrade in which status talks are not even mentioned.
Serbian news agency Beta, could not confirm that EU has sent such document to Belgrade.
Sources say that EU may seek to organize a meeting between Belgrade and ethnic Albanian separatists in Kosovo not to talk status but other issues of “common interest”.
Ethnic Serbs are killed and brutalized almost daily and EU and the US have never developed a policy to put a stop to the Albanian attacks on Serbs.
Tadic however has stated that he expects Serbia’s EU integration to be accelerated in autumn.
“The extension and the creation of an artificial deadline for Serbia’s EU accession after 2020 is not an option for the country. Every plan that envisages that this will happen after 2020 is unrealistic,” Tadic said.
As recently as several months ago, Serbia’s “EU accession” was dated by 2014.
Tadic said that he believes that the EU still wants the Western Balkans to become part of the EU.
Belgian Ambassador to Belgrade Denise De Hauwere has alleged that Kosovo has never been a condition for Serbia’s membership in the EU.
She however added it is necessary that Serbia has good “neighborly relations” with Kosovo, before it becomes an EU member.
“For Serbia, it is important to establish good cooperation with Kosovo and that a lasting modus vivendi be found,” Hauwere said.

To hell with the EU!
Seriously, how can Serbia have good neighborly relations with a country run by thugs? It would be nice to see the equivalent of Tadic and Josipovic on the Albanian side. Are there any Albanians that are up for the task?
The Hague International Court serves the EULEX/NATO KFOR Mission, along with former UNMIK, this is totally absurd and breaks UN Resolution 1244, sovereignty is threatened worldwide because now the deathnell to public opinion and or opposition, as dark and stoic as fascism. This is the path of America as we’re now in the crosshairs of the Fourth Reich (EU/NATO-Norfolk/UN-New York) The ruling lacks any moral scruples and common sense to allow Kosovo to be raped from Serbia is like trying to annex Jerusalem from Israel, who wouldn’t be upset.
How can you have good neighbour relations with yourself. Kosovo is not a “state” in any sense of the word. It is still a province govern by the UN in the official sense. You have gangsters running the territory and nothing more. EU ascension is a poison pill, let the belgians choke on it.
At the closing of the most recent Belgian parliament session, a Flemish sympathizer yelled out, “Die, Belgium, die”; and historically Belgium was the creation of the British, with the support of the Dutch and the Hapsburgs; but certainly not the Walloons, nor the Flemish.
So, to quote a former President, “Bring it on!”. The sooner, the better; and bring down the EU with it!

A while ago I remember EU pressing Serbia to accept and permit ‘Gay Parades’…..
Anybody who thinks that EU brings prosperity for the people and respect for the sovereignty of his country, better see how Greece ended up, having all the great prospects that Greek people had with EU regarding development, social justice and National Security against the agresion of Turkey, falling to pieces and drive Greek people disapointed in the hands of IMF.
Serbia should think twice before joining the EU.
So here we have it,after all the crawling and groveling at the feet of the 4th Reich some jumped up Belgian official tells tadic what some of us always knew,if he had any balls he would tell them to shove it where the sun don’t shine,when will the Serbs sweep these quislings from power and start the fight back?
So Tadic was fooling everyone. NO EU if no acceptance of Kosovo.
I wonder how many Serbs are pro EU now.
Well, it is quite clear that “international law” is anything that the United States of America and its European Union running dogs say it is.

This ruling will have effects all over the world for separatists.
In London more than 50% of all births are now to immigrant mothers, and an increasing amount are to non-Europeans. It’s only a matter of time until the non-Europeans with their alien culture become a majority. It will then be poetic justice when the majority of these immigrants declare independence for the newly created state of Londonistan. I just hope I am not around to see it when it happens.
It is against the Constitution, I believe, for any US state to secede. How shameful then that they force this upon another country. Double standards, but only to be expected.
Serbia will never be a member of EU,
